It has been a year in the making so I just wanted to post a few pictures of my new precision rig .. can't wait to get her to the range. It is another work of art from Rick at ATRS. Just want to say thanks for the great customer service, especially for being so patient in answering all of my questions and providing guidance and recommendations during the process. Scope is not installed still waiting for it to be delivered but couldn't wait to share

Ease of single loading without breaking position. Beautiful rifle I like the mix you chose for the Mcmillan.

This is a new setup for me (so we will see how long it takes to get used to it) but when I was discussing the setup of the rifle with Rick he said that maybe I would want to consider this for a few of reasons (remember that all of my shooting is from a prone position or a bench). If the need arises to manually load a round into the chamber it speeds up the reload process since you can work the bolt with the right hand and feed the shell with the left hand, you can do all of this without taking your eye of the target as well since you can keep your dominant eye in the scope and use your off scope eye to manage what is happening around the ejection port. Since I reload and have good quality brass (Lapua) it allows you to catch the brass as it ejects with your free hand thus helping prevent damage or loss of the brass.

I hope I am not giving Rick's secrets away , but you use a strap wrench to tighten and loosen the barrel from the receiver after removing a torx screw from the side of the receiver. The torx screw locks the barrel into the receiver.

THAT's what that is, just behind the anti-cant. Had me wondering what the heck that was. ATRS sure are putting out some great ideas.

Fantastic looking rifle & choice of 2nd calibre too.
