Bought a brand new stainless Colt Gold Cup Trophy and the transfer was completed in 4 days, shipped out and the wife called and said that CP delivered it yesterday. Took less than 2 weeks for it to arrive. :D:D:D Too bad I'm in the US right now.



02/07/2013...I finally got around to unboxing it and checking it out. Here it is right out of the box and plastic bag with the oil and dust. First time the gun has ever come out of the bag since it was put in at the factory.

Your wife knows about your firearm purchases?!! My wife thinks I only own a pellet gun....

Yeah she knows, I just tell her I'm buying a gun and she's 100% ok with it. Never complains, I was looking at a picture of a FDE G17 a few weeks ago and she said it looks cool in 2-tone and I should buy one.

It was my wife who said we should get into shooting. She already has 2 pistols that she wants picked out.

My wife had a fit when she found a plastic Snap Cap on the laundry room floor....
 
Great gun........can't wait to see the pics. My wife would claim it. She just got her IPSC blackbadge a month ago and is an absolute pistol shooting fanatic......thought it would be great....but now she claims all my goodies.....maybe I should look at stamp collecting.

My wife just bought a Ruger SR9 and 2000 rds of ball ammo. She plans to take the Black Badge course in May. Once I taught her how to shoot, all I had to do was get the hell out of her way! She buys her own guns AND DOESN'T BAT AN EYE WHE I COME HOME WITH A NEW ONE!

No wonder I married her, and no, she doesn't have a sister, before anyone asks ....

I'm glad you got the CGT you've been looking for. I sent Frederick a quick email, he better give me a good deal on the next gun I buy from him, lol. You'll have post pics of yours when it arrives.
