Grip for xcr l

Unfortunately I don't have any local dealers that stock magpul assecories, and was wondering what people like best for an aftermarket grip for there xcr. Does any aftermarket AR grip fit the xcr's? I picked up a bushmaster with a houge grip and I really liked the way it felt, but was wondering what opinions are on the magpul grips and fit.
Any info would be great thanks
 
The Magpul MOE grip works for me.

Great question OP as I jist bought an xcr and was thinking the same thing.

Is.there anything to watch out for when taking the original grip off, like a spring or something??
 
Any ar grip should work.
Magpul is hard plastic.

So factionrr, when removing the oem grip off the rifle does the spring just fly out loose or what to do when cahnging the grip???
Just waiting on Wolverine to ship out my 7.62x39 xcr so i dont have it in hand to refrence anything.

Ive always gone with the Magpuls because of availability in my local shops. I really like everything else I have Hogue, do the Hogue AR grips have that same rubberized detail like there overmoulde stocks? Also do they have any storage compartment in the grip itself? I like to keep a couple allen keys and a extra battery in there.

lol i havent forgotten. Just curious as I was unsure what exactly you needed mags for and now am pleased to hear you have joined the 7.62x39 XCR brotherhood. Would you not rather just buy XCR(lar) pistol mags? I know you have mentioned before you dont really like the look but there great to have on hand.
 
I do have a few on the way but just want a couple 5/30 rounders when its side by side my CZ's. I like having the option of different mags on hand. I hope the xcr shoots my stock pile of surplus ammo no problem.
 
It will, I only shoot bulk crate ammo out of mine and I generally run it on gas setting 2. What color did you end up getting?

I run a magwell adapter on my CZ and I know thats pure CZ bastardization to you lol but it sure is nice having 20 mags pre loaded and haveing the XCR and CZ able to share mags
 
I got the od green xcr. Not a big fan of tan and black is ok but wanted a grren rifle.

I loke the idea of have the mags interchangeable between the 2 rifles but as you know i like adding wood to the cz and making them look like AK variants so the mags kinda takes away from that. The 10 rounders are great out in the bush tho.
 
I got a Magpul MOE+ on mine and loving it. I find the grip to be rubbery but its a solid feel. The A2 grip that came with was not that great. My spring shot out and took me a while to find.

Thanks guys for all the info, has any body seen the hougue grip in ghillie tan colour , is it the same as fde.
