My sr 22 rifle with irons wont zero for 15 yrds. I have a magpul mbus pts front sight and a Knights Armament Corp rear sight. The Kac is designed for a 223 to zero and just twist the sight to raise the rear aperture to adjust for yardage to where you want to be on target. It's numbered and basically fool proof for a .223. Original plan was 15 yard zero with the KAC sight in the Z, lowest position and then play around to see what number to place it on to reach out at certain distances. For example the 200 yard setting might be 50 yards for a .22, the 300 yards might be 100 yards. Ya follow? Any ways at 15 yards I'm always like 3" low. Front sight post lowered all the way down and rear sight raised all the way up. Defeats the purpose of the sight really. I can get a zero with my UTG front fixed sight, but same deal. Front sight post lowered all the way down rear sight all the way up. I had that problem with the stock barrel and now with the Tactical solutions barrel. No barrel block. I ordered on from dlask with hopes it'll correct it.
Has any one else had these problems or can offer some advice by all means.
on a good note my bushnell trs 25 is awesome. Had it for 3 years now and the only problems i've had is I broke the rubber lens cover and the batteries have died twice. One time I left it on 2 setting for 24 hours and it worked for another may be another twelve hours of use. I was shocked at the battery life, but was mad when it died when i was trying to get a rabbit. Did not take the shot. I had one bad experience with a wounded rabbit and will do my best to prevent wounding again. I hate that noise.
