how long should it take for an rpal application to appear on the rcmp website?

From the time they actually receive it you can expect a week to two weeks usually from my experience.

From my experience... I received my RPAL license 28 business days after submitting it. The best part, my application never showed up on the website.
Is it at a certain stage in the process? Mine has been received my the RCMP office in Miramichi, they gave me a reference number when I called, and apparently it's been forwarded to the Quebec CFO who aren't ready for my interviews yet. But it's still not showing up on the RCMP site. Maybe they only put it up when the CFO sends it back? I don't know. But they've had it for at minimum 3-4 weeks now and it's still not up.
That's good to know, I have absolutely no idea if they received my application or not, that's the only thing that bothers me.
This is why i always recommend to send the letter express post with signature confirmation, yes it does cost 16$ to mail out a letter but at least you have a starting point
Mine took a little over 3 weeks to show up online. I also noticed that my credit card got charged the same day. Maybe check your credit card bill online if you are set up for that.
I called in to check and see if there was any missing info they needed and to see if I could do my interview. They said there wasn't any missing info, but my application hadn't been scanned into the system yet so they couldn't do my interview at that time. I'm going to call again next week if they don't call me first.

Figured it out:
When checking on the website, do not include your middle name anywhere, and only put your city of birth without the associated province or any punctuation (so "Ottawa", not "Ottawa, ON" or "Ottawa, Ontario" even if that's what's on your form)
Mine shows up when I do that. They received it on Jan 11th. Next week I'll call again to see if they're ready for interviews.

It usually takes 20 days from when they receive it to show up online. They won't do anything but blow you off when you call until your 28 days are up.
On the upside, yours should show up online this week!
I'd call BS as well, that is ridiculous!

Just did mine, 19 days to get on the site, 38 days total to be approved. That was with some delays due to me being too busy to call for an interview until about 2 weeks later and one of my references being out of town. Approved this morning right after the second ref called and did his interview.
Congrats, now you get to stalk the mail carrier..lol!
I Sent mine out the beginning of Feb and it still hasnt shown up on the website.. I hope it takes less time than murph's, lol. Its good to know that someone has gotten the license issued without it ever showing up on the site, so it could mean mine has already been received. I should have sent it registered mail this time...
