Got some pictures of this guy today. This one, and its relatives think it is OK to eat my raspberry bushes. And it is, provided they are OK with coming to dinner. :D

Things gotta be tough, when deer eat raspberry bushes.

Well, I have seen them eat a variety of "thorny" bushes, including wild roses, domestic roses, raspberries, blackberries, etc.
They only eat the tender tips, though, so perhaps the thorns are not enough to deter them, or are softer at that point.
My BIL is having a problem with them eating up his ornamental cedars. A group of 14/15 have decimated about 20 bushes so far.

That was my observation from when they munched on my raspberry canes earlier this year.
