This trio of rare non-refurbed SKS45s arrived from Westrifle this week. All were in very nice condition. I'm really impressed with their new pinning method.
1st up needs no introduction. It's a late 1954 Izhevsk
Next up is a rare 1955 Tula. These have just shown up in the last import batch. It's from the "C" block of serial numbers, which from the look of things was the last ones before going to the Letter Series. Like the Letter Series, there is no Tula stamp or date on the stock.
Last is a Letter Series "K" in hardwood. Until the last batch, only original laminates had surfaced from the "K"s. Don't confuse these with the earlier "D" & "I" Letter Series which had many more hardwood ones. What's interesting is this stock is a one piece one.
