Hey out there, thought to share a few pics of my newly acquired Enfield collection. I feel very proud and lucky to have come into such fine firearms.

and finally the brightest jewel of the bunch - No4T w/ transit case, scope, scope box. All numbers matching. Just missing the telescope, so if anyone has a line on one, I'd appreciate the heads up!

I can't wait to get them to the range. Thanks for looking!

Beautys bud. Love enfields and just started my own collection with a no4mk1* longbranch 1945. Gotta find another mag for it though..

Love that enfield T, such a treasure, dont let her go lol.

Thanks guys. The short story behind these is probably a more common scenario than not. An oldtimer friend of my father was liquidating his collection, guns, ammo, reloading gear, the whole kit and kabootle. He has one son who doesnt give a hoot about guns in anyway, much less the historical value. I've had my eyes on these for some time now, and finally I had the chance to snap them up. The old boy is equally happy they ended up in the extended family.

Very, very nice! :) You have a beautiful collection there. Don't get a divorce or over extend yourself to a point where you have to sell any. :p I have been fortunate for the 50+ years I have been buying guns. I survived a divorce (not at all messy) and have been able to keep any guns that I wanted.

Take pride in your rifles! You are responsible for a lot of drool.....:D

Very nice, I have been trying to get my hands on one since getting my RPAL last year. So far most are bubba'd I will keep looking, I want to find one that pops out at me so far the full stock ones are pretty beaten.

Hey HeavyT!

I like your rifles. I was introduced to the Lee Enfields in person just a few weeks ago, and my imagination was ignited! I was surprised how well the actions worked - they rivaled some pretty pricey bolt guns at my lgs. I am hoping to find some decent ones for myself over the next few years. I wasn't in the market (legally or intellectually) when these things were filling every gun shop, so now I have to wait for people who don't appreciate them to "dispose" of them. Glad that you gave these a proper home!

My sad confession here: I really like the transit cases too! I think they are very cool.

Best Regards, Geraldo

Sweet snap!! Treat them well.

You are a lucky guy. Make sure you go see that old timer once in a while and let him know how grateful you are. If he drinks, take him a case of beer or a jug of rum...that's a hug and a thank you in man land.

Good for you, nice finds! "What's old is new again" for some of us I can see, and that's nice too. You could collect nothing else for decades and hardly scratch the surface of the Enfield world.
