Any news on the "new year models" tactical 22lr front for this year?

It seems like the 597 VTR's and SR-22's are getting harder to find. The 597's are discontinued on the website, and the SR22's are phasing out a batch and it looks like the new ones will have sights.

Anything else new on the non-restricted front?

Kel-Tec SU-22 isn't "new", but maybe the newest thing on the Black 22lr rifle scene in Canada. (and IS non-restricted) Hopefully I won't be able to find one when I get my tax return.

Yes I was lucky and got one of the first batches of su22s in canada. Just got my 275 round drum hooked upand ready for this weekend!

When did you get yours and how long have they been up here?

I hope you plan on making vid of the drum being emptied. I can't wait to see it in action.
