As far as I am aware, they were only built to the specs of a very few of our US importers years ago. The Chinese Military never had or used them. They were a commercial idea by a certain US importer. They are not and never were a Military Surplus item. How any may have arrived in Canada I do not know.I saw them about 20 or so years ago at Gibralter Gun Show in Detroit. I always wanted one. but i thought i could never get in the US. I don't think they came with a bayonet.
