Sks paratrooper

Hi there. my names Marc. New to the forums. looking to gain more knowledge on forearms. just picked up a 51 russian. i refinished the laminated stock, looks great but im looking for a second. Anyone know if I can get my hands on a sks paratrooper?
 
Did you know the paratrooper model was a Chinese commercial model manufactured for the US market? Almost impossible to get here.

That's interesting. You'd think they'd send some our way. Sks's aren't cheap in the states now and are hard to get. Well, of anyone know where to get one, that would be great.
 
I saw them about 20 or so years ago at Gibralter Gun Show in Detroit. I always wanted one. but i thought i could never get in the US. I don't think they came with a bayonet.

As far as I am aware, they were only built to the specs of a very few of our US importers years ago. The Chinese Military never had or used them. They were a commercial idea by a certain US importer. They are not and never were a Military Surplus item. How any may have arrived in Canada I do not know.
