Project Completed /// Need some help 4 my tactical 10-22 project

Just use BUIS that co-indicate with your red dot and no handle needed. I also don't know if I would carry the gun by a handle mounted to the top rail as it is only held on by the 4 small base screws in the receiver. Maybe a Dlask receiver but not the stock Ruger one.

Thanks, but I want those saparate. The carrying handle is simply to separate the two and raise my holosight enough for ergonomics.

Revisit: Decided not to get the AR handle since my EOtech sight is already tall enough. However, I just put in an order for a 10/22 commando quad rail like these:

Hey Hey !!! Who's hijacking my thread ??? :p Kidding, its OK !!!!

So i'm in the 10-22 parts market... Again
I sold my Nordic kit + handguard.

I think I will finally upgrade the trigger group.
I'm also very interested by a Tactical solution threaded/fluthed-bull barrel.
I really like my dlask barrel but its a bit heavy ( not so bad but lighter could be better ), more suited for a target configuration.

For the stock, I think I will buy a Troy T22 but I have to decide between the Sports and the Tactical model :yingyang:
The choice is difficult...

Troy is a fantastic stock from what I have read / seen on videos. Nuttnfancy calls it "the best". I'd have to agree based on reviews and internet research I have made.

However, I am taking the quad rail / diy route. We'll see :)

TG,
Was that aimed at me? Did you mean the cheekpiece? If so it is a clip on piece that goes on a lot of collapsible stocks though I have never tried it on a SR22 buttstock. It works really well on a scoped rifle, specially high mounted ones. I have a spare if you need one.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was referring to the pics in post #12.
But I've since purchased a magpul something or other. lol

Hey Ben, on your first post you had a pic of all the parts from the Nordic kit... Did that wrench come with it? Where did you get it?

Any adjustable castle nut wrench seems to go for approx $50 on eBay and I'd like to save that money for glass on my SR-22...

If I remember well I paid about 40 bucks for my combination tool. It was not included with the Nordic Kit.
Tool for buttstock nuts only is 13$ with shipping...

I always wanted this stock but when I bought my Nordic kit, it was impossible to have them in Canada...
