Deleting Private Messages

I received an e-mail from CGN advising my mail box is getting full and that I should archive or delete some. There is a link available to completely empty the mail box but I can't figure out how to just delete some of the messages. Can anyone help?

check the box on the right, go to bottom of page, where it says selected messages at right, click on that, options show up.
