Well I bult this set for Sergecz a fellow gun nutter and a heck of a nice guy. He doesn't have access to a camera at this time and ask if I would post his pics. Since he is the good guy that he is...it has taken me a while ...but here they are.
This is the rifle with the original pistol grip. I cut the nose a little short and added a piece just so I could get the kit into his hands. This was not in any means a regular occurrence and asked him to choose something custom and I would make good on the replacement and he could keep this pistol grip as a "kicker"

Here is the bayonet handles...unfinished in this pic but with matching split heart wood pattern

The cheek piece ...same pattern

This is the custom pistol grip Sergecz asked for... contoured finger grip, 20 LPI checkering and VZ58 logo surrounded by stippling border. Normally I do not get into this type of thing because of the time it takes but I had to make the customer happy with what he was getting so I let him tell me what he wanted and I made it a reality at my own expense/time

I am swamped with projects right now and apologize to those who are waiting for theirs. Big photo shoot coming up when bfiles and myself get together for a little dress up party in the near future...prepare to crap your pants over the projects you will see at that time...some will be for sale...some will be privately owned by us. You will just have to wait til then.
Thank you to all my friends I have made/making parts for... I truly love seeing the finished project and knowing you are happy.

it's not hardwood , it's pine wood
and the rifle in on a old coffe table
it's a old stone house from 1845
it's been 10 years that me and my girlfriend work on it.
