As far as I know.

The CZ is Czech re-manufactured surplus
The CSA is new manufactured in the States
What is FSN?

The question, Which is superior? Build quality, fit and finish, all that good stuff. Looking to buy a non-restricted full stock example.

CZ magazines do not fit in CSA rifles, correct?

Anyone who own both? Fill me in.

(yes, I did look at the sticky. Two much information to ween through. I need direct information)

I'm pretty sure mags fit in both CSA and CZ. Its the same rifle after all.

CSAs have the side mount holes in the receiver from factory, CZ doesn't. Better quality finish as well. Harder to come by in NR length it seems.

I'm sure bfiles will chime in with more knowledge soon ;)

All the mags are interchangeable between the various 7.62 VZs.

CSAs are made in the Czech Republic. FSNs are also Czech and imported in limited numbers. CSA and FSN guns are on newly-made receivers.

The CSAs are prettier than the CZs and come with a tabbed bolt carrier. I've found the grey paint on the CZs to be more durable than the black on the CSAs.

Both are equally good.

About the CSA, I forgot that U.S. rifles are import marked. Would explain the Tennessee markings.

In my eyes the CSA is worth the price tag, but...

I have just done a deal on a CSA 5.56 today and did not notice the rail screw holes in the receiver until now, it's good they are there.

My question is where are the rails available from ?

No, they're all Czech made. They all have newly manufactured semi-auto receivers. The CZ-858's are manufactured with surplus parts (except for receiver+barrel on NR version). As mentioned, the CSA rifles come from the factory with the gremlin fix, matte black finish, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for a side scope mount. Not sure about the FSN rifles as I've only owned a CZ-858 and CSA VZ-58 .223 Carbine. If you want it in 7.62x39, you can get the CZ-858 with a crate of ammo for around the same price as the CSA, but the CSA is much prettier and is available from the factory without the beaver barf furniture, if that matters.
