Norc M-14's sold with only 1 5rnd mag?

I picked up my last one from epps and it came with one 5 and one 5/20. But was able to buy 3 other 5/20's for $20 each *used* from epps.

I bought a M-14S rifle a few days ago. It came with only one short five round magazine. Inside the box the styrofoam had empty cavities to fit at least six 20 round magazines (could be four). Are these rifles actually shipped with just a little 5 rounder or does the shop "appropriate" the other magazines for sale separately? Could it be that each shop decides what items to be included in their order?

Well I guess they could.........

Read the ad before you buy. If it states that it will come with one mag and it does, then no-one has been dishonest. If you want two mags, then buy from a retailer that includes two, or buy the second separately.

What's complicated about that?

here in NZ our largest gun store are a bunch of criminals.. they'll take a Norc and sell it with 1 mag, sell each other mag at $80 ( these are the crap 5 rounders ) .. sell the sling for $50, and sell the cleaning kit for $75

problem is most NZ shooters have no idea. so they think its reasonable for a $400 NZD rifle

The last M-14 that I bought came with a five flush fit and one 5/20.

It's not the dealers. Some come with one, some come with two, just depends on the batch and the mood the packing person was in!

I talked to an individual who imports many and there are mags inside the box. Each dealer then may or may not allow you to keep the magazines that came with your rifle.
I once got three magazines with my Chinese TT-33. The other boxes of Chinese TT-33's I got came with one and the other two.

I bought mine a Gagnon's and it only came with a five rounder. I read that they are selling 5/20's though...

Take a guess where they got the 5/20s from.

Yes, when I bought my 22" from Frontier, that was the case, and I remember back then that everyone else got the 5/20s. This was one of the reasons I bought my next m14 elsewhere. CanadaAmmo gave me both 5/20s.

Trade ex sent mine with both mags. It cost a little more at the time compared to some other dealers BUT the guys over there are probably the most honest in the business and I have no problem spending an extra 10 bucks knowing that I'm supporting a good dealer that would not screw it's customers over... Same thing seems to go on with the TT-33 although some dealers do actually only get them with one mag (the Russians ones at least)
