Best pistol light or laser or combo

I really like my streamlight tlr-1 works great on my glock and beretta . The price and performance are great with tons of good reviews. The surefire x400 has a light and laser combo and I have heard good things

I used a blackhawk xiphos light, got it from Opsgear.com. I prefer crimson trace laser grips for lasers, I got mine from a company in the states, but can't remember which company. Honestly, I like a light on my pistol, but the lasers are expensive and of limited value unless you are some hi-speed lo-drag foreign operative. If you were, you wouldn't be taking advice from us on what laser to buy lol.

My Viridian C5L is pretty awesome, but after spending the money, I realized a laser is not the most useful gadget to have. Still awesome and the light is great but I don't have much use for a laser.

My Viridian X5L (gen2) is really sweet. Its crazy just how visible the green laser is in the day and at night its just insane. The flash light in it is pretty decent too and you can pre program its functions.

I bought three TLR-4's (laser and flashlight) off of an ebay seller for around $125 each (they used USPS). I trust streamlights more than unknown brands... and these are fairly bright.

I got a couple of TLR-3s on ebay for $73 each and they are great and small. Even fits my M&P 40c well without sticking out too much.

I love gun gadgets as much as the next guy,but spending several hundred dollars on a Surefire or Viridian laser/light combo just makes no sense in this country....I categorize them with fake suppressors and pinned 17 & 32 rd mags....silly. Unless your running around the basement playing Call Of Duty with your friends while the wife is off shopping....there is virtually no use for this stuff. You can't use it for home defence or night hunting....so its just gonna sit in your safe after the novelty wears off. To be honest...I bought a Viridian green laser/weaponlight combo for my pistol, played with it around the house a couple times and now its a really expensive dog teasing toy.

I have to disagree with you there, on both points. One, a pinned mag tends to load more easily, plus the 33 round Glock mags are nice in a PCC, if just for giving you more real estate to grab when changing mags.

Two, Ian Thompson's case gave us a little more wiggle room when it comes to home defence as we can now point to his case as precedent in this area. So a white light will always be on my legally stored pistol. Just in case.

But, yeah, fake silencers are stupid.

Fake suppressors and pinned high cap mags in the same sentence? Hurtin. Pinned high cap mags at least have some use if a) the laws are repealed/abolished or b) something terrible happens and we become a lawless society again. I would rather have the pinned regular and high cap mags than have a bunch of stock 10 round mags.

BTW, I don't care about lasers, but weapon lights are important in home defense.
