Apparently not many more of those around though.........
The 49 we had 2 years ago from westrifle were not the same Breed as the ones we got now. At the time, thoses 49 had the stock replaced or sanded and they were stock with a blade bayonet cut, modified to accomodate the spike oneand they were painted refurb.

Yup, mine has a very very light refurb stamp that I almost missed on initial first look, but everything else looks good on it and appears all original.
SOOO, I guess the ones we bought before were crap!?! Painted? Cut! Modified!
I didn't say they were crap, at the time, that's all that we could have, i was happy to have one,refurb,painted but all originals parts except the stock. When i saw the ones Westrifle had in the last shipment, how to not buy one? i didn't mind the $500 tag, i even boutgh another last week
I'm thinking about the 49 laminate but home tax coming so i hope to loose the idea with a night of sleep I will receive my other 49 hardwood tomorrow, will make 2 nices 49 in the cabinet so i cant complain at all. Please,could a fellow nutz buy the laminate tonight so i can stop looking at?*****Update***** There's more refurb 49 now, so need a bunch of nutz to buy thoses before i cant resist anymore
