I've been researching electronic calls like the Primos Turbo Dogg and the Fox pro that are in the $200 range.
I'd like to pick up a good call but money as always is an issue. What are your experiences with these calls and can you suggest any others in this price range.

Thanks

Might get beat on for saying this but: Better=most money. I`ve experienced the cheap callers. Yeah....they will work, but only to an extent and only on the more stupid animal. Mouth calls work great, but you need to be "down pat" on how to use them correctly to give the perfect call.
I ended up buying a Foxpro Fury, but at $150 less than marked value since it was used. Not sure where you are from, but if time isn`t an issue: I`d check out the online want ads.
I know a month ago (its no longer there) a guy had a foxpro fury for $400 (good deal) !!!

Pretty good advice.... depends on where you are located.... I have a spitfire and it works great.... has an option to add the extra speaker if you feel you need it.... That being said, it depends where you live and what sounds you are using... here in ontario we aren't expecting them to come running in from a mile anyways....

Put $200 worth of gas in to your truck and get out there callin with hand calls. It's money better spent than blowing it on a cheap call that's not going to work well.

Agree. I have a couple of hand calls and the fox pro spitfire which does the job if they are there.

I just bought a Foxpro Fury 2 ($600+) for this season and I've shot less this year than I did the last 3 years all using hand calls.

Get good with hand calls and you will call in more coyotes than a looped sound that everyone and their brother uses.

Only advantage electronic callers have is getting the sound away from you.

Hand calls and a moving decoy will work fine, I'd save my money and buy a Hellfire or Fury 2 instead of getting the spitfire or wildfire. My Fury is nice and loud, and has great remote range
