Despite what many say .300BK will chamber in 5.56mm guns without using the forward assist.

Good pictorial on Lightfighter about this issue in a DDM4

I've checked a number of super sonic and subsonic loadings -- many chamber in 5.56mm guns...
 
Interesting, my first thought was it wouldn’t chamber, but yeah, on subsequent thought you are right…

Picked up my copy at the local drug store. Looks like there's a few decent articles in there. I'm more interested in the ammunition and related ballistics than I am about the AR's themselves. I've all but decided on a DDM4 V5 if I buy an AR in .300 BLK.
 
One of the best print ads for a firearm I have ever seen is in that issue. My wife obviously thought it was disgusting

You do realize this thread is about a totally different cartridge, right? It's .300 Blackout not .300 Win. Mag. Quite a difference. ;)
 
Is this generic to all AR-15 with the exception that it also covers .300 Blackout?

Would this be useful for a regular 5.56 AR? If not, is there a resource like this for us guys with regular 5.56 AR-15's?

Peterson Publishing does countless mags on 5.56mm models. Those have been well covered.

You do realize the title is of the thread is the "Guns and Ammo Book of the AR15 " which is the issue that has the ad was in

Though people who do not have an issue of this mag would find it entertaining
