Also +p+ is Ultra/Extra High Pressure.. in case you come across that as well : )

And if youre going to shoot +P or +P+ be sure your firearm is rated for it ;-) You may or may not have an explosion in your face but could damage parts like slides, receivers, barrel chambers etc..

You guys know if a P226 is alright for +p+?
It's rated for +p. +P+ is unrated, so no gun can really say "yes, it's okay for +P+" because it could be loaded hot enough to blow up a gun.
Even with +p, quality guns like Glocks and Sigs will "wear out" faster or require more frequent servicing by shooting +P, and especially +P+, which again, could be anything.
I'd put a few mags of +p through a quality 9, but I wouldn't be shooting it exclusively.
Even guns like the USP, which have been recorded to clear a squib by shooting another round and showing little to no barrel bulge by doing this (that's tough!) warn of a shorter service life shooting a lot of +p.

P&D enterprises stocks some good hollow point ammo. I bought 500 rounds of 124g +P speer gold dots a few months back. It doesnt show on their website, ya call and ask.
