Hadnt seen a pic of this stuff yet. Got mine in the mail 2 days ago and got it installed today. Thought someone might be interested.
The butt stock grip and tube are one piece and the tube is a triangular shape so you cant use any other type of sliding stock. The stock itself included a cheek riser that was too high for my sights. Its supposed to be removable. But while removing it as per the instruction (basically just pull it off), it snapped in 2.
The stock comes with a LONG allen wrench to attach it to the receiver. But mine didnt come with a bolt and the stock bolt isnt long enough. I havent called Hical yet to see if a bolt was supposed to be included. Seems like it should have been.
The fore end is really nice. Its polymer but nicely made. The tri-rail at the front is metal and is attached to the polymer piece with 4 allen screws. Its very well put together. If you dont want the tri-rail look, a polymer cap is included. Just remove the 4 screws, remove the tri-rail and install the cap with the same 4 screws.
Overall, this thing feels very good in the hands. Its solid, not flimsy at all. Im not crazy about the shape of the butt. Its very thin. Havent had a chance to shoot with it yet. It comes with a soft rubber recoil pad that has a soft insert behind it. In the box is a more firm insert you can install if you desire. The stock has 6 positions and is adjusted just like every other stock. Grip has a storage compartment in it.
Not much else to say really. I like the fore end alot. But im not crazy about the stock. I just bought a magpul fore end and stock to try out as well.
