I have had spare mags on order thru Reliable in Vancouver since mid November and still not in.
My problem is have ISPC Black Badge course March 8-9 on west coast and really need.

I will pay double no problem.

Currently overseas and home on west coast in a week.

Havent even fired this gun yet....hope this isnt what to expect from H&K!

Many tahnks for any suggestions,

Shooting Centre in Calgary. It was the only place I could find any in stock when I bought my P30. The price will make you cry, but that's just par for the course for any HK stuff.

Two things. First off Join the EE. Someone will sell you there used mags for full pop if you pay shipping.
2nd thing, should have bought a more common gun. If you had a Glock,CZ or M&P you wouldnt be having this problem. Sorry but Your main/first gun shouldnt be a rare beast for this reason.

:agree:

LOL some of you guys...we should all have 1 gun, being the exact same one cause being different is bad and IMPOSSIBLE to find things for!!! Do you only have 1 colour shirt so you don't have to take the time doing separate loads of laundry too? Only have on thing for dinner every night cause options and choices are just too much for your difficult life?

Mags are a bit pricer for some guns like HK but when the mags are made in and shipped from Germany the costs add up...we are already raped up the bum and wallet for 99% of all things "gun" in Canada, mags included.

They are a one time deal buy...ammo is the most expensive part in a long run. Buy them when you see them, don't look bad. I have 6 magazines for my HK and although it was pricer then what Glocks mags would have been I have long since gotten over the cost of them and enjoy having them and I can think of many other stupid things that you just throw or drink or smoke away that people waste money on all the time anyways without a second thought.

Good luck in your mag search!!!

maybe call Pro-line Shooters in Calgary. the last time I was in there I saw at least 4 or 5 P30 mags on the rack.

And some of you guys kill me... First, there is nothing rare or uncommon about the P30 series guns. They are literally everywhere... Second, this is the Canadian market. It can be just as hard to find Glock, CZ, or any other mags from time to time up here.

I say enjoy your P30L! and good luck in your upcoming match!

I say buy what you really want. HK stuff can be more difficult to find but the P30 series is cetainly not rare. The P30 is also a solid gun. I used my P30L in IPSC while I had it and it performed fine.

You could try borrowing some just for the BB if you know folks in your area/club that have a P30. I've lent LAR15 mags to new AR shooters so they could attend matches/courses while their gear was on order.

Good luck and enjoy the pistol. There're excellent.

While I agree with the majority of your post, mags are a training consumable and when they cease to function reliably (which they eventually will if you shoot enough) they need to be ditched and replaced...
