Lead core 7.62x39?

Hard to find why leadcore are you shooting at an indoor range.

Prvi partisan is the only non magnetic 7.62x39 I know of. If all you want is lead core then any modern ammo should do.

Hornady 7.62x39 is non magnetic. Still 38.99 for 50 though. The non magnetic stuff is more expensive. 16.99 isnt all bad, where is that at? Shooters choice?

I didn't do the math but reloading isn't that much cheaper unless one shoots lead bullets, which cannot be used in gas operated SKS

That is right shooting indoors, Colby, range where I'm a member had a fire last year due to use of steel bullets so they banned it.

Wollf ammo doesn't have steel in the bullet, right? is it available in Canada?

I buy surplus and replace steel core with hornady lead from budget shooter supply.

Works out about $10/20

Msf sticks to magnet and is banned at my club.

Really bud do the math its significantly cheaper in the long run. I've heard of a few guys that shoot lead in the SKS and no doubt it would require a good cleaning of the gas system more often.

I do the same thing with x54 for my SVT40 which absolutely murders brass so with the steel cases I dont have to worry since they're thrown away anyways.
