im trying to decide if i should sell a ar and grab a non restricted tavor


just noticed he said the Israel and USA made ones are identical, but i thought you wrote that the are not. the trigger is completely different and something else too?

The bolt carrier group is not the same. Plus the US ones are . . . well . . . cheaper feeling.

They're still great guns. But I'm glad I've got mine.

NR from the US . . . consider that bubble burst. They're demand is so high, and their barrel is 18" (half inch too short) so its unlikely that we'll see $2000 FDE Tavors anytime soon.

Nope.

As far from it as they can get. Part of why our parts don't fit in theirs. No full auto BCGs allowed in the IWI US rifles.
