I'm not plugging or endorsing but if anyone is new to reloading and looking at starting Prophet River has the RCBS Rock chucker supreme kit on sale for $310. RCBS's website also has a Canadian rebate for $50 if you purchase $300 or more of rcbs equipment. So basically $260 for a rock chucker kit plus tax and shipping, can't beat that. Just ordered mine Saturday and I can't wait :D

I ordered one and it was here in a week and a half. Great service from Prophet River. The Rockchucker is way bigger and heavier than I imagined. The powder measure is also cast steel or iron, I had expected plastic. Overall a far better product than I expected.

I bought the PR one as well back in... Oct?

Either way, I was told by a buddy who owns the Lee to buy the RCBS. After setting it up and getting used to it (over 750 rounds of .308) I saw his set-up and could INSTANTLY see the difference.

This kit is a good deal at this price and built to last. Not the top of the line, but good enough for 98% of us. You can add items you feel you need like case trimmers, maybe a electronic powder dispenser, fancy scale, whatever.
 
i have this as well and its great. All i bought extra was a case trimmer and a easier scale. But dang i find the 5-0-5 scale to be more accurate and assuring so i end up using it.

Between me and my friend we have reloaded about 1000 308 rounds and finally i feel competent. Just having a hard time choosing powders since thye all seem to work well in my gun.
 
Also purchased one. Only problem I had was some damage to the handle and the reloading book. Not sure if they damage happened on route. Called rcbs and they are sending a new one.
 
Got mine in early Jan. They had a $25 flat rate for shipping as well. Not sure if it is still in effect. 1 week to NS

Sent in for my rebate but haven't rec'd it yet.

It'll come. Takes awhile but mine showed up.

Now what sucks is my bank account did the followeding:

1) Debted my account 50$
2) Credited my account $49.10
3) Charged me 10$ USD conversion fee!

I have to call them on this. since I'm actually OUT $10.90. Facking bankers.

Ugh.. I didn't need to know this.... Now I have to check it out..
 
Well everything arrived today after shipping out Monday afternoon. Suprised with canada post delivering before expected delivery date. Have to say I'm impressed with the quality overall, I have yet to use the powder measure and should let everyone know the stand is not included with this kit. Not a big deal, I'll just fab my own but a heads up for anyone else ordering the kit.
