Thanks for clearing that up. :) does anyone have a range report for MOA on these puppies?

are the conversion kits mentioned in the vid available here? if so, pricing? has anyone tried them out?

No range report, however I did shoot mine a couple of times since I got it last week and can make a couple of observations. First I had no failures of any kind in a couple hundred rounds. My accuracy with American Eagle, Norinco, and 75 grain Amax reloads was all the same about 4 MOA.

The 9mm conversion kit will not work in Canadian firearms. The 5.45 will work fine.

Here's a makeshift accuracy report from a month ago:

I've done sub moa (5 shots) with Hornady 75 grain amax handloads @ 150 yards because that is the parallax setting of my 3-9x leupold. Had to load em one at a time. My bud supplied me the handloads.

With norc.223 and elcan dr 1-4x @4x I get 4moa (10 shots )

What was the powder and charge of the reloads (handloads)?

By the way JBD and TV, I just ordered those SWEEEEEET looking sights from Questar. I am shamelessly copying you guys! Wow does that look good on the Tavor!

Tv-presspass, that is a lot better than i would have expected! next time out, try it kneeling or standing with no rest and post your results. cycles without failure and 2 or less MOA. this rifle is now edging out the XCR in my santa's list.

It will shoot center of mass on Palestinians all day every day.

I would say thats comparable to calling my 45-70 "The Indian Tamer."

It might be fine between boys, but its not the sort of thing I'd say in polite company or in public.

It doesn't do much for our efforts to ensure the Tavor stays a "sporting rifle" with nothing "assault-like" about it.

It's no secret what the Israelis are trying to do to the Palestinians. :stirthepot2:

What efforts? Mall ninjas dressed up like digi cam clad zombie hunters running around filming themselves playing soldier? Ever notice it's always your stupid videos that get used by the media? You have done far more harm than that comment ever will... Keep up the good work, champ.

Just FYI... The 45-70 was for buffalo. Not Indians.

You've got a lot of angry out there today Gaston Glock.

No anger. Just being straight up... Don't pretend your mister "help the tavor pretend its not for killing" when your one of the worst offenders.
It's a rifle that wasn't designed with sporting proposes in mind... In short, it was made to kill. The acronym T.A.R. might make it hard to say there is "nothing assult about it".
Your videos have been used more than a few times by the other side. Your statements seem a little, well hypocritical... I could care less if some skinny wannabe wants to run around in the forest all dressed up. Just don't pretend your fighting the good fight, it makes you look like a clown.

Wow, that's pretty unnecessary. I suppose you are one of the naysayers who was harping on stormbringer for his CBC interview as well?

I was just thinking to myself not two days ago how I am happy to see video clips of respectable looking folks carrying out their chosen hobby of sport shooting in a safe and legal manner. Brings authenticity to the sport, shows that normal people enjoy the hobby, and gives people a picture of the people who call this hobby their own.

If you want to keep holed up in your work room tinkering alone on antique guns with your Storm and SKS in the safe, keep it 'secretive', act ashamed of your hobby and give the anti's exactly the picture of gun enthusiasts that they suspect, you go right ahead.

I think I'll continue to follow the lead by stormbringer and PressPass of celebrating our hobby, and showing new people how to do it in a safe and responsible manner.
