Is it okay to use plated bullets in polygonal barrels?? I'm getting ready to start buying components and didn't know if there are any issues using plated bullets in a polygonal barrel. Thanks, Andrew.

Berry's Bullets says that all is good if you keep velocities under 1200 fps. At that speed they basically behave like jacketed bullets. Also be careful not to crimp plated bullets too heavily as the crimp can cut through the thin copper plating.

yes you can, you can also use lead as long as you keep the barrel clean.
