10/22 bolt slop and extractor problem, need volunteers!

So my 10/22 is a month old almost and its been junk out of the box. It would stove pipe constantly with a live round going halfway in. This gun has been disassembled and polished up slightly in the receiver and bolt, radius on the bolt, buffer, volquartzen extractor with stock spring, and several complete cleanings. It still stove pipes with the butler creek mags or the factory. Hard to shoot ten shots without it screwing up, gone through 300 or more rounds already. If I cycle a clip full of shells it will not even pull the live shell out of the chamber in most cases. The shells come out by hand with my finger nail even and the slot the ejector sits in is clean. Worse with the butler creek mags I would say, but my brothers gun fires all of them with my 25 rounders so the magazines are not the problem. One thing I noticed is that if I push the bolt upwards by hand towards the top of the receiver while pulling the bolt backwards it will let go of the shell and only pull it halfways out of the chamber. The play in the receiver is sloppy to say the least, can a few other people try this with their 10/22 to see if this is normal for it to let go when pushing upwards. Its easiest to try this with the trigger group out. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME OUT.

It stove piped from brand new with the factory extractor, thats why I put in the volquartzen extractor. Plus if you watch its operation you will see that if anything the volq extractor will help out the situation.
 
Next time you are out... try applying upward pressure to the OEM 10rnd rotary-mag while also pressing the mag forward while shooting.
Does that solve the issue?
 
Doesnt seem to matter how i hold onto the mag, I can make it not grab shells just cycling a clip full in the house by hand. Im going to return that heap if I can manage to find my receipt. What garbage the 10/22 has become lately.
 
Check the bolt face with a casing, if there is too much cut out the casing can move sideways in the bolt face and get past the extractor causing it to stovepipe or FTE. VQ bolts are cut way too generous as well.
 
I used both springs but found the stock spring to work best. Extractor slot is clean, lines up well also. Just seems like too much bolt slop allowing extractor to tilt away from case.
 
Do you have any buddies with 10/22s? If so, next time out I would try swapping bolts from one of their guns, just for a mag or two and see if the problem moves with the bolt or stays with your receiver... If your suspicions are right then scrutinize the differences between the bolts and you should figure it out... Don't know if that's any help, but it's hard to diagnose without shooting it and seeing the parts in person....

Try a Kidd bolt, there`s no slop & it will extract an unfired RD out of a TIGHT MATCH chamber every time:D:D
 
Where can you get bolts in canada anyway, over the 100 dollar limit to bring in from the states. I'm just going to have to keep tinkering. I still have a bit of time to return it for a refund.

Try Fabsports, if they don't have one on the site, call, their inventory changes often and they usually have Kidd components.
