Its not been fired in 33 year it would be an injustice to fire it nowsome day well shoot it and feel that custom shop glory.
Heads up if it hasn't been mentioned yet.
Elwood Epps has a python listed on there web page for close to 5 grand.
Yeh its part of a set you have to buy 2 other guns to get it.
The other two aren't pythons... one is a colt dragoon
Yes but the other is a SA Army in 45 LC. For 4600$ for the set all in excellent condition May just be interested as I would love the Python plus the SA Army. Not fond of the Dragoon but heck for that price and its in a display case etc. seems like a good deal.
Well looks like I am back in the hunt for a Bright Stainless again. The snake I thought I got turned out to be Nickel 1980 unit : (
Advice to all: Ask seller to remove grips and tell you what letter he sees on the bottom of grip, N=Nickel, S=Stainless !!!!
Open cylinder and check where the ejector grove(under lug) is for sideway S. If there then its a Stainless also should have grooves on cylinder release button. If all there post a picture. Probably Buba polished this one or could be BSS but need pictures. The BSS should be perfect mirror like finish everywhere. Also post partial S/N and I will tell you if its post 1983 because thats the absolute earliest when SS came out.
Also try: http://www.coltsmfg.com/CustomerServices/SerialNumberLookup.aspx this will tell you if it is SS or BSS.
The picture below is NOT BSS but a poor attempt by Buba to make it look like one.
PS. Almost forgot if it is BSS and you don't want let me purchase it from you, I will not charge you extra for your troubles![]()
