whats a good budget hunting scope

Redfield Revolution is as low as I would go, but for just a little more you can get a Bushnell 3200.

The 3200 series was my bare minimum for a hunting scope, until I tried a Redfield 2-7x33. It is a really good scope for the money.

You can get Leupold VX-I 3-9x40 scopes for around $200 too. Although for my taste I prefer at least a VX-2.

You can often find some good deals on used scopes. Some are in almost new condition for half the price.

Im not a huge fan of the low end bushnell stuff, step up even a little to the 3200 line and the quality is night and day. Im not saying the 3200 is top of the line, its defn not. but its a pretty darn good value.

I orig bought a bushnell banner and it died after one hunting season. The 3200 2x7 has been working amazing year after year.
