Here's mine

My one and only.

2007 Norc M14S
Used M1A rear sight assembly.
Unfinished (finished by me ;)) and modified to fit my rifle, Boyds M1A stock.
Spot welded the Op Rod guide in line with the barrel and gas system as it was sloppy loose.

Other than that all 100% stock Norc parts:

And with quality Federal 165gr ammunition at 100 meters from the prone:

Good enough

I've been bugging Frank to make a full length one a la battle rail.

I'm listening to these requests. A prototype full length top rail/handguard should be ready within 2 weeks. This will be the first of many prototypes for this part. The SHG rail, which is also due out soon, had 13 iterations so therefore, I would not expect the long version too soon. I look forward to putting it out a distinctly lightweight, innovative top rail within the next few months.

One day I will have one of these. Is it a Springfield inside or a norinco?

It's a Norinco shorty. It was the first rifle I ever bought and I've spent a lot of time and effort in making it better and better (which really is the fun part). Made a few upgrades such as the spring guide and it shoots decently. Now if only I could find more time to shoot it....

My two Norcs...the shorty I am trying different options with...one pic it has the Eotech and a CASM RD with a magnifier on it...I changed to the busnell but put on the cheek riser and will try it out again with the RD mount or buy another CASM to set up like Kalmars above....

the other one I used hunting with a CASM scope mount which rocks...(one mule buck, one mule doe and a cow moose this last season.) I think I will stick with it for next season.

The dog wouldn't move...lol

This config I have an Eotech and a 3xmagnifier mounted on a CASM RD mount.
