Nice rifles and dog. I'd love to do a build like your shorty for future CQB and deer hunting. Don't think I'd go with the cheek riser though. Did you find it necessary? How's that AFG?

I found I needed the riser..it just made a good consistent cheek weld but to each their own. The AFG added a little more comfort to my wrist is all...again to each their own...I am still working on exaclty what I like with that shorty.

I want to use the shorty for hunting as well now and am going to put on a CASM Gen II on it and will need that riser as it will be the same set up as the full length.

I'm listening to these requests. A prototype full length top rail/handguard should be ready within 2 weeks. This will be the first of many prototypes for this part. The SHG rail, which is also due out soon, had 13 iterations so therefore, I would not expect the long version too soon. I look forward to putting it out a distinctly lightweight, innovative top rail within the next few months.

How about milling Navy style front sight as well??? I will be the test shooter fo it too...lol
