.25 Eatonia Rifle and Ammunition?????

Does any one have have any idea where to get .25 rim fire ammunition for this single shot eatonia rifle and what type of market is there for the gun it's self?

I haven't tried it myself but I understand .25 cal Hilti can be used as the propellent...#3 buckshot for a "bullet"

I load .32 RF using .27 cal Hiltis, stumbled across the .25 cal reference in my travels & I took note of it although I don't have the details...search the forum & Google should give you some further direction

As for buying .25RF ammo, it is rarer than hen's teeth - and $$$ if you find any. So the Hilti trick is your best option, short of re-lining the barrel, or hanging it up.

Not much market for those rifles IMO, today anyway. Never know what tomorrow will bring ;) The Stevens Favourites in .25 RF etc do not (yet) command a premium but they have a collector following. "Eatonia"...Eatons? I know Cooey manufactured them with some involvement from Winnie

the .27 cal hilti may be more fitting the rifle is not worth that much but still not something id mess with
