My 2cents on these rounds

CCI is about the only decent domestic ammo I've found. If you start shooting the good stuff like Lapua, Eley or RWS you won't go back.
Yes you'll have to pay $50 a brick instead of $25.

I own an sr22 with a volquartsen exact edge extractor. Before you read the post know that this is how the ammo run in "my gun" through butlercreek steel lip 25 round fully loaded mags, your results may vary. Two years ago my cousin and brother in law bought me a whole variety of Remington, federal and Winchester ammunition. Between them and my own curiosity I've put enough rounds through my gun to look like Charlie sheen in hot shots part deux. As far as bulk CCIs are my go to round, ive went through 4 bricks so far. Winchester 555s I do not care for. fired 1110 rnds. To many fail to feed and FTF. Winchester dyno HP were okay, but the bullets are not uniform so accuracy was an issue fired 2 bulk packs of those. Wildcats I have not fired enough to voice an opinion. Winchester new m22s I ve only fired 200+ rounds but I like em. I've just started with federal champion, 300 rnds fired so far couple fail to feed and one FTF, but I got 2100 rnds and an ammo box for 100 bucks lol. I've gone through one brick of American eagle. About the same results as Remington thunderbolts. Remington yellow jackets I'd probably pull the bullets out of the Casings and use the lead make jigs.....I do not like yellow jackets. If this helps some one awesome if not that's okay too I've been in this car for and hour listening to country music.... What is give for one yellow jacket round. Id end my suffering by taking out her ipod. The round would probably be a dud.

Ive found Winchester 333/555 to shoot extremly well in all my .22's. My newest .22, a Quad will shoot ragged holes at 50 yards with this stuff if I do my part..its cheap too :)

Blazers for punching paper and Win 555 for punching gophers. Have a few probs but nothing to beetch about. No threat to life or limb from hard charging gophers or paper zombies.

I use Winchester 555 in all my .22's, good accuracy and good for gophers.
(10/22 w/Dlask barrel,22/45TB,CZ452,BL22).

Tried Federal 525 blue box bulk, also worked well, but 555 grouped slightly better, and 555 does more damage to gophers.

A friend of mine picked up a pack of the CCI's and every bullet was caked in that waxy stuff, we could not figure out if it was meant to be kind of thing or just, like you say the "finish" department. My 10/22 will go for ever without a jam or mis fire. It seems to be when I put my Butler Creek mag in that I start jamming up. I find pulling back a bit on my mag when firing will help stop that.

Just a post to get me on E.E

Was it a bulk pack ?? I found the bulk packs to be really waxy but the 50/100 plastic cases to be excellent
