How badly do you want the Axis and how much do you not want the H&R. You do not always look at $ when you trade, if you are willing to give up something for something else and the other party is happy go for it. If you are reluctant ask for a few $ extra and find out.

If you're the guy flogging the H&R to get a Savage then it's a good trade. Vice Versa and you're taking it dry.

If I had the H&R Ultra in a calibre I liked I'd keep it. If I had the Axis in a calibre I liked I'd sell it or trade it. Not a bad gun, but I don't care for them. Do whatever has you ending up with what you want.
