Exceptional M14/M1A Precision?

I knew a guy who won the Queens plate at borden with a stock Norc M-14. Some shoot exceptionally well as they came from the factory.

At my next clinic or when you guys see me next, remind me to speak of a visit at a classfied LE facility where I delivered an M14 Clinic. They were showing me their target groups archived in 3 ring binders. I was impressed.

Enough talking about fight club! I cannot say any more!

Travis Bickle; just curious. The standard is a 5 shot group at 100 yards when comparing accuracy.
Why did you only shoot 3 rounds?
I would like to see how your 5 shot groups look.
It only seams fair to compare apples to apples.

I've shot 2 round groups that touch eachother with my Norc.
That's 1/8 MOA!

Third, fourth, fifth, sixth and sevenths shots are just flyers though.... so I put tape over them, cause they dont count.

I shoot 4 round groups normally.

I ran out of good quality ammo lol The last group was my last 3 rounds of Federal vice the MFS crap I usually shoot.

The rifle outshoots my abilities by far. Especially with iron sights.

Finally got home and went out to the farm to see if I could get to the range and yep, trail was blown in. Ol' Dodgey wasn't quite up to the task to get all the way there, so I'll see if I can get down there with the loader this week.

Nice to see some of your rifles and results. Can't wait until we all have some cooperative weather to get out there and really have at 'er!
