700 SPS wiith a 16" barrel

Any one have any experience with the remington 700 SPS with a 16" barrel, gullie green stock and in 308? Just ordered one and curious as to people experiences

They just became available roughly 2-weeks ago. It's got the same barrel as the AAC SD 20" barrel except it's been reduced in length to 16". Lots of testimonials on that particular rifle.

This would be good with a silencer ,folding stock and subsonic ammo and night vision scope ... Coyotes wouldn't know what hit em !

I just got one today in .300Blkout. Noticed it has a 1-7 twist. Pretty fast but I understand its necessary to stabilize the 220 grain subsonic round.
I'm thinking its gonna kick a bit. No ammo yet, trial postponed until it gets here.

Well showed up on thursday, had it in to my gunsmith friday and he was finished in 2 days! custom 3 port break, one piece enlarged bolt knob and parkerized the whole gun.

I can only speak for the .308 version as I purchased one from CanAm. The Shooting Edge was the first place I saw them as well as Wolverine. Alberta Tactical Rifle just chimed in saying they recieved so maybe check them out.
