Picked up a xcr-l 7.62x39 in fast black from wolverine. unpacked her yesterday. quick clean and lube and off to the range. 300 rounds down the pipe not a failure with mfs and the stock mag. needless to say i am happy with it. pure pleasure to shoot. Irons needed a couple clicks windage and a turn and a half down on the front and i was ringing 200 gong every time. dropped my vortex on it straight off my xcr-m and point of impact was 6inch off the m's point of impact at 100. Thought that was pretty cool.
Last 30 rounds grouped into 6.5 inch at 200 yards with the 4x scope. not taking my time. Let just say the barrel was a bit warm. Love it.
Oh btw it ran flawless on gas setting one the entire time.
 
Ive got a friend on the van isl that has one in 7.62x39 , would not have bin my first choice ... But he swears by his
 
Glad you like it! I really like mine same caliber but in OD green. Mine has been running smooth too with 500 rounds so far.

just kidding, very nice.
i'm thinking of putting my order in for the next batch.

only issue i can think of is running corrosive in this thing, makes me uneasy.
