I remember seeing someone mention it before. They were saying there are some type of shims you can buy that go in between the upper and lower to reduce wobble?

My DDM4V3 has a small wobble between the upper and lower. It really doesn't affect the performance and it is very slight, but every time I pick it up I notice it and then I think the handle is lose then realize its the upper and lower.. Any ideas on a easy fix?

We can provide these, however up until this point I have refused to because I hated them with such a passion while I was in the CF.

Just remember though that the movement doesn't affect accuracy.

What do they go for?

I know it doesn't affect the accuracy, It's kind of annoying. but at the same time I'm sure i will get used to it.

Those wobble is absolutely annoying. Acccuwedge $4 can take the noise away but there will still be some wobble left. Sometimes wobble caused by the clearance on the pivot and take down pins. Also the clearance betwen the upper lug and the boss. But my bDDM4 V3 has less than .05mm clearance which is too little to notice.
So try the accuwedge first the try to replace the pin to 0.250" pin (pin is .248" usually). If you can check the dimension first.
But the end of it this this normal since it is ar15.
I dont understand why those "MIL SPEC" stil stick with this kind of half cenrtury old tolerance. 0.1 0.2 mm clearance, come on give me a break. Todays manufacturing techniques can easily reduce this to 0.05.
