You have $300 to start a new project....what do you do?

I'd need someone to do some major convincing to get me to drop that kinda cash. But realistically , I could sell a piece of camera equipment and net a couple grand to throw into a new hobby. My only reservation is that this will be my first gun, and im going to need 600 for a decent 12 ga and another 500-800 for a pistol when I get my RPAL. So dropping thousands on a rimfire setup is off putting at the moment until I decide its a hobby im going to enjoy...

Put it this way. When you stated into photography did you just want a cheap camera of mediocre build quality and cheaply made or did you want something that would last for years of use. The savages feel like a toy compared to a cz to me. The savages may last years ad years but in the end they still dont feel like the same league as a cz is.
The savage btvs from wolverine is priced at $470 Like the one you have pictured in the first post buy not stainless.
Wolverine also has some cz listed for a few $ more and in the opinion of alot of us is worth the $30 more.
