FN Indian touble

1A1 parts, metric FAL and inch pattern lower receiver parts are all interchangeable and will fit each country's lower, the rest of the rifles to some extent do not all interchange. You can put a metric Fal or Ishapore upper on to an inch lower and vice versa. If you can find some Canadian parts to relace with you should be able to correct the deficiencies with your Ishy. g2.

Wow, the answer to that is a big fat "NOT"...

IA1 rifles were being manufactured by the early 1960s, and the barrel/receiver thread and front sight threads gas block are more metric than inch....
