PRC .308 win Accuracy?

Non corrosive. Decent accuracy for me... But im only using it in my 1919A4. :)

It's a good deal at around $0.50/round. You'd be paying twice that in the US right now. I bought two case from tradex, and gonna pick up two more from the shooting edge tomorrow!

Great value! Certainly not match ammo, I always get a flier on 5 shot groups but I have had nice 3 shot groups. No jams, no miss fire. Perfect for a fun afternoon with your m14.

Typical NATO ball accuracy depending on of course on individual firearm. Velocity is 2804fps from my 22"barrel M14 @ 12-15feet. That's hitting NATO spec( 1955 spec 148grFMJBT bullet at 2750fps at 78 feet from muzzle) right on the head.

Cheapest ball non- corrosive that meets NATO spec I've used so far. How the velocity is obtained as in powder weight and burn rate, and how it impinges on my gas system compared to say AE or S&B, I cannot say. Maybe someone has analyzed this ammo a little more closely than me. I thought it was to meet US M-80 Spec for GPMGs.

Sorry to all the MFS disciples a competitor in price to the Chinese, but Russian MFS got a 160fps velocity spread and never comes close to NATO velocity on my chronograph. MFS is very very dirty as well. I think they are using powder from the CrimeanWar.

Norc is the best bang for the buck I see right now. I'm getting it for 14.00/20, that's good for not buying bulk and paying shipping costs.

Good luck with you Whammo.

You're paying $700/1000 for norc 7.62?

Ill sell you all the crates I have right now... Ill even cover shipping! :)

Just paid $420/1000 today. Granted shipping ain't cheap, but isn't $280/crate!!! ;)

Either way thanks for your insights on the ammo. Never chronographed it , but your results are interesting!

I will never buy that toxic chinese crap again. I was shooting into the wind and the muzzle smoke blew back on all of us on the firing line. Everyones eyes got red and iritated. Some of us had to stop shooting because it was so bad.

It might be ok though if you only shoot with the wind.

cheaps not always cheap.

I know it's expensive by the 20 round box, I'd like to buy a crate but can't put 500 bucks out right now for ammo. The 14 dollars lets me get a fix now and then with at least 40 rounds to fire. I've always try to make every round count, so even 40 rounds can make a nice afternoon for me time I'm set up at 200m and demob'd on the range. Our 400m is not completed or improved yet. If I was going to use it for Service Conditions I would have to buy a crate, zero, and suck it up. Actually I need to set up my Rock Chucker thats been in a storage crate for 13 years and cook some some 155-165 loads compatible with my Rifle.
