Winchester 490 magazines in a Norinco JW 15 A?

I'm looking to pick up an extra magazine for my jw 15 A rifle, preferably a 10 rnd magazine.


I saw someone on the EE selling magazines for a winchester 490 and they looked near identical to the JW magazines, was wondering if someone could say for sure if they were interchangeable?

The Winchester 490 mags are much smaller in all dimensions compared to the Norinco JW 15 A mags which are over built.

X2 got a CZ 10 rounder.

Looks like that is general consensus. I think Cabelas has the cz 10 rounders...

My lgs has the steel norinco 10 round mags in stock. GMK Armouries in Thunder Bay (807-346-4088). The mags come with a spacer(?) installed that limits the mag to 9 rounds. Take the base plate off and remove the spacer and the mag holds 10 rounds. In my JW15A the 10 round mag feeds smoothly all 10 rounds. I think they sell for around $35.
