That sucks, especially since you only got to shoot 10 rounds the first time out before it broke.

Now I see why I have seen others hesitant over using ATI buffer tubes. Where did you buy it from? Perhaps they can help?

you may have overtightened the castle nut. looks like it separated between the end plate and the castle nut.is this correct?

I have never heard anything about those buffers. This would be the 2nd or 3rd I have seen break in a short while.

It's not over tightened every thing is to spec and the supplier is working on it for me I noticed even out of the box it seemed cheap any suggestions on a buffer tube and where I can get on even if they warranty it I'm not putting ati back on my gun

I got mine from CTCS a little while ago, but it looks like they are out of stock now. I have a spare commercial tube I could sell, but if you have a milspec stock, that won't help.

I replied to your email right after you sent it but I haven't seen a reply. We'll sort it out for you.

Just remember OP. "Milspec" doesn't mean its the best. Do your research, and I suggest never buy anything ATI or else your #### will fall off. Its science.
