Co-worker with a Walther P-22 problem?

A friend at work had one of these .22 calibre pistols. His current problem is that it has a FTF issue about 50% of the time?
Tonight he going to do a full disassembly/clean/reassembly. Any informed or experienced insight guys/gals??

Great pistol - read the bible mentioned and consider some of the suggestions. I polished the feed ramp and have never have had an issue with mine.

Have to agree with JB, sell it before the slide breaks and flys off at your face, it happened to a friend of mine. Google Walther p22 broken slide for more information
 
I had this problem. I removed my firing pin and polished the sides, put it back in and never had the problem again.

after 500 or so rounds at the range it gums up, I spray the #### out of it with cleaner and keep shooting!

Had mine for 10 000+ rounds and never had a serious problem. duno what you guys are talking about
