Me and MT143 went out last year for duck opener with our SxS and Bismuth loaded in compression formed hulls in the 16's. I think he spent more time looking for the hulls then he did looking for ducks!

I hear you. I won't use them if there is a chance I will lose any. I use federals there. I have had guys offer as much as 2 bucks each for them but no way are they getting them. Best hulls ever in the 16ga in my mind.

They are nice hulls. I shot a double on a Mallard and a Black and managed to steal those away from him ;)

I've got no problems with the Federal hulls, I just use Cheddites more because I can get steel data for them and I don't load very much lead anymore due to price.

And to keep this thread somewhat on topic ;)

Yep, a Light Twelve that I use for ducks over decoys. I found an extra barrel with the choke cut off, so the Open Cyl works great with #3 shot over decoys. Absolutely deadly. And it loads so fast, I have twice shot a triple and loaded a fourth shell to get a fourth duck out of a single flock.

I have a Remington Sportsman (basically the 11, which is basically the Auto-5) in 16 Gauge cut down to 24" and it HAMMERS them within 30 yards with #4 steel. The cylinder bore with steel surprised me how well it patterned.

I've never even had enough ducks in the decoys to shoot a triple, let alone 4! ;)

I have a 12ga light 12 from japan,a 20ga light 20ga from belgium and a remington model 11. I have alot of shotguns of all types but the auto 5's are my favorite hands down. It's like they were made for me. I shoot skeet only and 7/8 12 ga,3/4 20ga and 7/8 16 ga respectively. They all are fixed choke 2 and 3/4" and always work. I think they are the best semi for what I shoot.
 
I have three auto fives. A minty A5 mag twelve that i use on Sundays, A very nice 12 mag with 32 inch barrel for ducks and geese and a minty 20 mag for pheasents and making my brother jeleous....I love Auto 5's.
 
Here's a picture of all 3 of my A5's. The A5 Magnum in 12ga. has been my favorite waterfowl gun for years. Nothing like firing a shot and feeling that rhythmic action of the barrel as you line up the next shot. They are fast cycling and dependable! But they are also heavy so I bought the new model for shooting anything I have to chase up with my lab (as well as some sporting clays).

The top one is the new Kenematic A5 with 30" barrel, the middle one is a '62 A5 magnum with 32" barrel and Briley thinwall choke tubes, and the bottom one is a '74 A5 Maganum with 32" full choke and I added the Browning synthetic A5 stock set which I bought from Midwest Gunworks in the USA. The Browning synthetic is expensive compared to the Ramline but I like the feel of the Browning set and would go that route again.....
All nice guns, probably going to sell the '62......

I bought the forearm when they did ship to Canada, now with the USA not allowing us to posses gun parts I was lucky enough to make a contact with a guy from the USA who hunts ducks near my spot in the marsh. He brought the butt stock up for me and delivered it as we were launching our boat! The factory Browning Synthetic stock is heavier and feels solid, I broke 2 wood fore arms on my gun before so I decided to go the synthetic route and it was the right choice.

A tad short and then a tad more.
A rear wood with the round knob would shure be nice
to update this Light Twelve with a modified barrel.
