Hello, New posting here, seems to be a pretty awesome blog here. Got a deerslayer barrel with the mounting lug broke off and missing. They made some of them with the slam fire trigger set up.
My problem is this, I contacted Les at Diamond gunsmith in ithaca ny, to get a price on a lug and have him mail one out, well he wont do it but he will dang sure let me send in the barrel and solder one on for me for 185.00 bucks. Jeeze I can buy a brand new slayer for 220-300. Well I heard this ron sharp guy has a bunch of ithaca parts there in the great white north, but his phone number doesn't work from my house. And I see he doesn't have an email or website either. Have you contacted him at all?
Maybe someone has one ! HELP!
Thx,
Dan

Ron Sharpe, now there's a name from my past. Ithaca had a plant, think it was more a warehouse and repair facilty in Dunnville Ontario back in the 70's. When it closed, Ron who I believe worked there, bought up the inventory of parts and opened shop as a gunsmith.
He was a few years older than me and I'm 63 now back then , I've found some recent postings on google that indicates he is still working and a phone of 905-774-6368. Good luck
