Pistol caliber carbines

Thanks for the info guys, I really like the fact that the JR uses AR furniture and is already NR and will use my glock mags guess I am going to be making a trip to my LGS to do a little fondling...

Famae SAF: accurate, built like a tank, unique.

BRS-99: restricted or non restricted option [looks nice with the shroud], allso very accurate and very well built.

i've owned 3 Bushmaster Carbon 15 9mm's and I'd say for the $ they are the best thing out there in 9mm. I like the Lone Wolf Glock AR's but they are a little pricey, probably worth every penny though. The Thureon would be my top choice for NR.

I have a Thureon. It is very solid and, dare I say it, elegant. It didn't take me long to break the firing pin though (1500 rdns). Something in the blowback mechanism seems to put too much stress on it. It has been with the gunsmith waiting for parts ever since. Still, laid next to the keltec or storm I would still get the TD solely on the solid feel of it (ironic given the mechanical failure ) Order extra firing pins right away because this is not uncommon.

JR Carbine. Comes in 9mm, 40S&W and .45ACP. Or get one and get the caliber conversions and have em all.

That... that paint job is insane...

Hickok45 has 2 video's on his youtube area. Most people watch the 2nd where he stretches it out to 230yards but in the first one, he has just got the rifle and starts running ammo through it in various mags and has only gone a few mags in and it stops firing. He pulls it apart and the firing pin is broken. Thureon sends him a new one and he makes video 2.

when did you get your thureon? i heard they have fixed the problem i got one of them from arms east recently but haven't taken it out yet.....i hope i dont break the firing pin :(

Kriss Super V. Very, very accurate, reliable, and can be broken down for cleaning in 10-15 seconds (literally).

Also, it fires big 230 grain slugs. Gotta love that!

Kriss' are nice but expensive, may be cost prohibitive for some but good way to go if you can afford it. I find them to be a little....ugly. But who cares with the performance they deliver.

Yeah they are expensive, and some find them ugly. I think it looks cool, but it all depends on a person's style I guess. .45 acp is getting pricey too and is hard to find lately.

have a jr in 9mm stopped counting after 5000 rds ( about 3000rds ago give or take a few 100) no probs at all, and im hard on my toys

9mm jrc here...1000 rounds through it, 0 failures. Using 115g, 124gr tmj and lrn. Only complaint is that it doesn't break down quick enough for cleaning.

Look into the BRS99s. They are awesome little carbines. Built like a tank, utterly reliable and very accurate. Only downsides are they're limited to 5 rounds and the grip has the ergos of a brick
