Hey guys

I didn't quite know where to post this but here it is. I am considering beginning manufacturing carbon/glass fiber stocks and I'm here to ask... what are you looking for in a stock? By that I mean to say is a hunting stock should be...? A TR stock should be? An all purpose stock should be...? This will be a 100% Canadian endeavour focusing on the needs of Canadian firearms owners.

This may all come to reality by fall 2013.

Thanks for your input.

If you haven't even decided what to make, and it's now March, you can't seriously think that you will have a quality product for sale this fall. Good luck, though.

I would be interested in a high-quality, sporter-style lightweight stock for Rem or Savage bolt actions.

We aren't talking mass production yet, and you don't know the processes all ready in place to get going. But I appreciate the task in front of me. Once a final design is finished production can start in as little as one week.

If you are doing a low volume production run, a tacticool style stock for a Ruger 77/22 would have a market here and in the US ;)

I'd consider a stock for my Savage 30-06. I'm 6'4 and have a super long arm span. Shouldering rifles for me, in most cases, feels unnatural. How are you planning to make moulds? I used to make fibreglass truck accessories :)

I need a stock for my Browning Stainless Stalker short action, I shoot left and the factory stock has a palm swell for a right hand shooter. By Fall time sounds awesome. PLease let me know when it is ready to ship!:p

I will try to design a stock that will allow inletting for various actions, but initially they will likely be made for remington, savage, tikka... with provision in the future to expand on other actions. That doesnt mean other actions won't fit easily in an inlet, it will just take more time to fit nicely.
