Over the sand bags with my Takedown CCI Stinger Ammo from Butler Creek 25 rounds Steel lips at 100 yards, this is the only attempt slowly shooting for group i made and what a success...
This is 25 Stingers with a 22 shots .8 MOA cluster, the 25 total mesured at 1.6 MOA...
Gotta love those Stingers, and its worth mentionning that no malfunctions occured with the whole brick of ammo... JP.

Just bought a TD from Jo-Brook Outdoors today. I cant wait until it gets here... and the best news is that Hogue is making a stock for it soon...

I have a VQ hammer and Power extractor on the way as well for it... And will run a P-22 scope when I get it back from Nikon :p:p

Also trying to figure out how to mount a Harris S-BMR 6-9 without that stupid looking rail from pro-mag. Might have to order those inserts from Brownells and epoxy it in.

cant wait....

Don't take this the wrong way but I have a hard time to believe a 10/22 with a standard barrel is getting sub-MOA with stingers? Stingers are known to be innaccurate ...

Au contraire, both my SR-22 and both my TD just are dead accurate with them, but a buy a box and try them in you semi rifle, bolt action rifle dont shoot them particuliarly good, in my CZ 453 set trigger and my Browning bolt they are just bad... JP.

Congrat for the rifle and with those upgrades, sure will be extra reliable, should look good with the Hogue... JP.

Stingers are known to be innacurate...This is an urban legend... JP.

It is not an urban legend in my experience... I have been shooting rimfire for more than 40 years with dozens of firearms... I have tried Stingers in all of them... And I have never seen groups like that at 50 meters, let alone 100 meters... I have used 4 or 5 different lots of Stinger ammo to test... Stingers in our rimfires has become a running joke with my son and I...

I'm glad that the combo works for you and that you are happy... I thought readers of this thread could use more hands on experience info before they run out an buy a case of ammo that may shoot cow-pie groups.

I am fully satisfied with those Stingers, i buy them 2 X 5000 at the time, i may add those rounds love a dirty barrel, actually i think i am at 5000 rounds one one my SR-22, and beside the action i dont recall brushing the barrel once, it is one of my more accurate one... JP.

Lol...I was just going to write that I have never got groups like that at 50 yards with Stingers, let alone at 100 yards, but you beat me to it. They have only worked OK for me in my last few .22's - Brno 2E, Sako Finnfire, Browning semi-auto T/D....

Caramel -that is mighty fine results and certainly leaves nothing to be desired.

Anyway this year,i bought a telemetry system camera ( $$$ for proof) that split the screen so you see the shooter and on the other half you see the hit on the target in real time, that ought to satisfied any St-Thomas member, every of those video will be on my public Youtube site available for all... JP.

Caramel - how do you find CCI Velocitor ammunition? For me they work better than the Stingers, and they have lots of jam too. I think part of the "issue" with Stingers is that they have a slightly longer case than regular .22 LR. I think that is possibly why some rifles really like them while others don't. Mind you this is pure speculation on my part.

I have no success with any other high velocity ammo, iv'e been shooting Stingers forever, i buy Eley target for my 453 set trigger and my browning T-bolt, the CZ is my most accurate rifle printing .6 or less all the time at 85 metres, but they jam in many semi du to the subsonic thing, did try the Winny 40gr Hyper, they are ok but dont give me the same results... JP.

There is not a big difference between 50 and a 100 yards with Stinger, dont forget that they average 1600+fps so the arc of shooting is flatter and the group really start to open up past 125 yards... JP.
